Tomato: Hillbilly (Beefsteak)

Tomato: Hillbilly (Beefsteak)
An heirloom variety from West Virginia, this tomato was brought to the Seed Savers Exchange by Ohio gardener Jerry Lee Bosner in 1994 for commercial cultivation. The plants are large and indeterminate, featuring regular leaves that yield impressive, one-pound beefsteak tomatoes. These tomatoes are heavily ribbed, with a striking orange-yellow hue and red mottled skin, complemented by red streaks inside. They offer a delightful sweetness and fruity taste with low acidity, making them perfect for serving in thick slices alongside other colorful tomatoes.
1 plant comes in a 3” plastic container.
